Paul Remund

Born in 1983 in Los Angeles, California. Paul Remund is a self-taught sound and visual artist. His electronic sound, hand-made instruments, and moving image describe a relationship between industrial engineering, psychotherapy, and escapism. With mood-based work he objectifies and deconstructs the state of having opposite or contradictory tendencies. His dense background in musical composition and performance have developed into experimental and improvisational sound works for handmade instrument, performance and soundtrack. Remund has performed and shown work across the U.S. and Eastern Europe. Remund is currently living and working in New York, NY.
